# Krot > Krot is your agents' own computer: an always-on Linux box of your own where Claude Code, Codex and Cursor keep working while your laptop is closed. You drive them from your phone, in the Claude app (Remote Control), the ChatGPT app, cursor.com/agents or Krot chat. Every login happens on the box, in each vendor's own flow, and stays there. Krot is in a private alpha, open by invitation, at https://getkrot.com. ## What Krot is - Krot gives each person a box: a dedicated, always-on Linux computer with a persistent disk for their code, tools and logins. - Three coding agents run on it, each the vendor's own command-line tool, installed by the vendor's installer and unmodified: Claude Code (Anthropic), Codex (OpenAI) and Cursor (Anysphere). - Each person signs in to every agent with their own account. Krot provides the computer the agents run on, not the models. - A box runs up to four sessions side by side, each in its own folder. Agents clone the repositories they need with the box's own GitHub login (`gh`). - Krot is independent and not affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI or Anysphere. ## How each agent is driven - Claude Code: every session starts with Remote Control on, so it appears in the Claude app and on claude.ai/code. Any session can switch to Krot chat and back on the same conversation. - Codex: the box runs Codex with remote control on; a session can be followed and steered from the ChatGPT app and from Krot chat at the same time. - Cursor: each session's folder is a Cursor machine for cursor.com/agents, with Krot chat beside it. - Krot chat: a chat page served by the box itself, so what the person types goes from their browser to their box, not through Krot. Tool calls that need the person arrive as Allow and Deny cards. ## Security and privacy - Krot never holds a GitHub token for the agents or any Claude, OpenAI or Cursor credential, and never asks for an API key. Logins happen on the box through GitHub's and Codex's device codes, Claude's sign-in code and Cursor's approval link. - Every request between Krot and a box is signed with that box's own secret; terminal entries are single-use and expire after 60 seconds. - Push notifications carry a session's name and a link back to it, never what was said. ## Reliability - Logins, code and sessions live on the box's disk. After a restart, sessions start again on their own, and a Claude Code session is back in the Claude app within about a minute. ## Getting started - Krot is in a private alpha. Anyone can join the waitlist at https://getkrot.com; an invited address signs in at https://getkrot.com/signin with an email link or Google. - Then: connect GitHub and the agents on the box's own pages (no terminal needed), and start sessions. - The dashboard installs as an app on a phone's home screen and sends a notification when a Krot chat session asks something or finishes its turn. ## Links - [Home](https://getkrot.com/): what Krot is, a demo, and the waitlist - [Sign in](https://getkrot.com/signin): for invited addresses
